About us:
Established in 1992 with the goal of providing high quality consigned and new equestrian equipment and apparel, the Tack Exchange has been a staple in the town of Middleburg for nearly thirty years. The shop was founded by Jo Motion, who brings nearly six decades of experience in the horse industry in both the UK and United States.
Specializing in foxhunting tack, attire, and appointments, the shop is well-stocked with anything and everything the English rider may need. If there is something in particular you’re on the hunt for, don’t hesitate to give us a call!
The shop
Located at 103 W. Federal St, our shop is two stories. Upstairs you will find tack, appointments, and attire while downstairs are boots, saddles, and blankets. We have two saddle horses available for testing saddles and we’re always happy to help fit you and your horse.
Accepted forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, cash, and in-state checks. Apologies, but we cannot accept American Express or Discover at this time, thank you!
Consigning with Us:
With well over 13,000 consignors, we have a well-established system for pricing and selling your consignment items. When coming in with your items, we will go through them with you to determine what is and isn’t sellable and set prices that you are happy with. Please ensure that all items are clean and ready to go to make the intake process as smooth as possible. Here is our Consigner Agreement policy, and let us know if you have any questions!
